Guy Finally Pays For A Pizza He Got 13 Years Ago To Clear His Conscience

When Redditor and pizza shop owner morgan_freemun checked his mail the other day, he didn't expect to receive a letter from an anonymous customer. Probably more shocking for him was the money order that was attached for a pizza this customer bought 13 years ago.
As the letter explains, this unnamed patron was going through a rough time in 2002 and purposely bounced a check to buy a ~$20 pizza. (In case you're wondering, yes, some people paid for pizza with checks back in the day, but the shop owner says he stopped accepting them in 2005 or 2006.) It had been weighing heavily on the customer's conscience this whole time and so he finally decided to do good by paying it back (plus interest).

"I feel bad for the poor guy," the shop owner says. "I probably forgot about him when I wrote the check off as a loss and never gave him another thought. This poor dude has been dwelling on this for over a decade. If I find out who he is I'm going to have a beer with him, I'm buying."
