The much-loved 28-year-old was killed as she walked through Cator Park in Kidbrooke to meet an old pal for a first date on Friday, September 17.

Her body was found by a dog walker on the evening of the following day covered in leaves.

A close friend told LBC: "She just wanted to live life.

"She wanted to go to Dubai or the UAE and teach children there."

Sabina is believed to have been heading out for her first date since her break up when she was attacked and killed.

She was found just 200 yards from the home she'd lived in since June. And while her disappearance wasn't reported to police, friends said they became worried when they hadn't heard from her by the Saturday.

It was rare for her to stay away without letting someone know, they said.

However, they believed her date had gone well - while the man she was meeting thought she'd changed her mind, it's understood.

Last night, hundreds of mourners gathered for a candlelight vigil.

Her sister, Jebina, broke down in tears as she paid an emotional tribute.

"We have lost an amazing, caring, beautiful sister, who left this world far too early," she said.

“Sabina loved her family. It feels like we’re stuck in a bad dream and cannot get out of it."

'STUCK IN A BAD DREAM'

As she struggled through tears she said: “Our world is shattered. No family should go through what our family is going through.

"She didn't reach her 29th birthday next month."

The Duchess of Cambridge - who left flowers at the vigil for Sarah Everard said her thoughts were with Sabina's family and friends.

She tweeted that she was “saddened by the loss of another innocent young woman on our streets”.

Boris Johnson also sent a message of support to Sabina's family.

"My thoughts are with the family and friends of Sabina Nessa at this deeply distressing time and I will be thinking of them tonight as people come together to pay their respects," the PM tweeted yesterday.

"We will do everything we can to prevent these abhorrent crimes and make our streets safer."

HUNT FOR SUSPECT

Police arrested a 38-year-old man from Lewisham, South London on suspicion of murder.

He has been released under investigation.

Another man in his 40s who was held on suspicion of murder the day after Sabina's body was found was also later released under further investigation.

Cops are also hunting another man in connection with their probe. They yesterday released CCTV footage of their suspect walking through nearby Pegler Square.

An image of a silver car it is believed he had access to - and that police are searching for - has also been released.
